Electrolysis
For men or women, electrolysis is the only method of permanent hair removal.
To achieve permanency, Élan Beauty tailors a specific electrolysis treatment program to meet each individual
patient's needs. Certain factors determine the number and length of treatments, including:
- number of hairs in the area
- sensitivity of the skin
- area to be treated
- previous methods of hair removal--tweezing, waxing or depilatories.

Élan Beauty uses the best computerized electrolysis machines on the market (Apilus brand, made in Canada,
by the well-known Canadian company Dectro International). We also use sterile, disposable, gold electrolysis
needles – the best probes on the market.
For a client that is new to electrolysis, we often start with the first visit of 30 – 45 minutes which consists of a 15
minute consultation followed by 15 – 30 minutes of electrolysis working time. The closer you adhere to your
treatment schedule, the more effective your treatment program will be in helping you free yourself of
superfluous (unwanted) hair forever.
