(permanent) makeup and non of my friends could tell afterwards that I had gotten permanent makeup!
She listened very well and did put time and effort to make all the lines smooth and perfect. She wasn’t
trying to finish things quickly. I would (and already have) recommended her to my friends and family.
Deciding to get permanent makeup is a risky decision but I am happy that I was in good hands.

This is a review of my very first (but certainly not the last) waxing. I only met two of the Elan team (Dina and
Tammy). They both are friendly, courteous and professional and put me at ease right away. The procedure
was explained to me and was started out slowly - ensuring that this nervous wimp was doing “okay”
before things sped up to a proper pace. After I relaxed and got comfortable we managed to share a few
laughs.
My skin feels and looks great. I actually think that this makes me look younger. (Now to tan up.) I have
made another appointment (this time for a massage) and do believe that I will become a frequent and
regular waxer. Tammy was particularly kind, gentle, and thoughtful and proffered solid advice for skin care.
To me it is remarkable that I entered the salon feeling quite trepidatous but that I left feeling positively
buoyed by my treatment and interaction with Dina and Tammy. Caring, thoughtful, skilled people with a
professional demeanour can have that effect. I heartily recommend Élan!

I am experienced in the beauty industry, managing a day spa for 4 years and working at a professional
skin care company for three.
I was very pleased with my electrolysis and will be getting more in other areas. Tammy was very sweet
and patient with me. She said my eyebrows looked good but asked if she could do them. I couldn't stop
looking at them on my way home. She did such a great job! I will stop doing them myself and only go to
her. I had had my eyebrows done by other people so many times and never been happy so I resorted to
doing them myself.
Tammy also educated me on skin care. I realized I was doing a lot of things wrong and could have ended
up with hyper-pigmentation problems worse than what I have.
Even with all my experience in this industry I was truly blown away. She really knows what she is doing. A
true professional.
I would recommend Élan to anyone. I have put their cards up in the lunch room at work.

Hello. My name is Lorraine and I found that " Élan" was the only salon I could find in Vancouver that did
first class permanent make-up. My story is that I had very thin and sparse eyebrows and I also wanted a
higher brow line.
I removed my true brow line and went to see Tammy at " Élan" and explained what I wanted. I had no brow
line for Tammy to follow. She had to draw new brows for me which is like painting on a blank canvas.
Tammy gave me a new set of Eye Brows that women be proud to have. I recently had to see a plastic
surgeon and I told him about my eye brows and he said that Tammy did such a wonderful job that even as
a plastic surgeon, sometimes brow lifts don't result as well as the job that Tammy did on me.
I highly recommend Tammy for her technique, the sterilization procedures, her vast knowledge, and her
kindness. I have already recommended her to many friends that are seeking permanent make-up. Tammy
also did permanent eyeliner on my upper lid....... and it looks Great !!!
